We here at hope everyone and their families are safe through this trying and complicated time. As primary elections around the country wrap up the election appears to be centered around Senator Joe Biden and President Donald Trump. Rabbi Marvin Hier to lead prayer at Swearing In Ceremony

Thursday, January 5th

Rabbi Marvin Hier, who is the founder and dean of Simon Wiesenthal Center located in Los Angeles, will read an original prayer as well as a benediction each for President Trump and Vice President Pence at the Swearing In Ceremony.

2017 Inaugural Parade lineup announced

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has released the 2017 Inaugural Parade lineup. In addition to these fine participants, there will be representatives from each branch of our military.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir to perform at the Swearing In Ceremony

Singers of the 360 member Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be performing at the Swearing In Ceremony. The Choir has performed at many other Inaugurations dating back to President Taft.

Randy Rogers to perform a special solo acoustic set at the Black Tie & Boots Ball

Randy Rogers has announced he accepted an invitation to perform a special solo acoustic set at the Black Tie & Boots Ball on January 19th. The event is hosted by the Texas State Society in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

13,000 military personnel to to provide support at the Inauguration

Tuesday, December 20th

The Military Times has reported that over 13,000 military personnel will provide support for the security of the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. This includes over 5,000 active-duty service members and over 8,000 National Guard personnel.

Senate offices being flooded with ticket requests

Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran's office has been inundated with requests for Inaugural Tickets since Donald Trump won the Presidential Election, it has been reported. “The groundswell of support for Mr. Trump in Mississippi gave us some indication of the level of interest Mississippians who might want to attend this inaugural ceremony in person" reports Chris Gallegos, who is a spokesman for Senator Cochran.

16-year-old Jackie Evancho to sing National Anthem at the Inauguration

Thursday, December 15th

Jackie Evancho, the 16 year old opera singer made famous by finishing in second place on America's Got Talent, has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Inauguration.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has given us a first peek at the Inaugural week events. They've announced a rally, 2 sanctioned inaugural balls, and 1 inaugural ball saluting military and first responders. More details will be coming, so check back here soon!

Senator Roy Blunt tapped to plan the Swearing In Ceremony

Missouri Senator Roy Blunt, fresh off of a successful re-election campaign, has been put in charge of planning the Swearing In Ceremony. He is officially the chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, which is the committee which plans the Swearing In Ceremony and the proceeding luncheon.

President Elect Donald Trump has announced the leadership for the 2017 Presidential Inaugural Committee. The Presidential Inaugural Committee is in charge of planning all of the official events of inauguration day. They will be chaired by Thomas Barrack Jr., the founder and executive chairman of Colony Capital, a global investment firm.

Today is Election Day! The race is too close to call and every vote counts. So if you weren't one of the many early voters, make your way to your polling station and cast your vote!

Inaugural Ceremony musical composer announced

Dr. John Wykoff, the assistant professor of music theory and composition at Lee University in Cleveland, TN has been selected to compose the music for the Inaugural Ceremony.

First rehearsals for the Inauguration Ceremony scheduled

The Pentagon has announced that the first rehearsal event for the Presidential Inauguration will take place on December 14th. Pentagon and Inaugural officials will meet to begin the arduous task of planning the 58th Presidential Inauguration ceremony.

The third and final Presidential Debate takes place tonight at 9:00pm EST. at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, NV. The debate is being run by Fox News, and will be moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.

Washington D.C. hotels preparing for the Inauguration

Anticipation is building all around Washington D.C. for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. USA Today is reporting that hotels in Washington D.C. have begun offering extremely expensive hotel packages for groups of guests for the 2017 Inauguration. Prices are said to be in the 5 to 6 figures for the event.

MSU Choral to perform at the Inauguration

The 48 piece Missouri State Choral will perform at the Inauguration, providing a fantastic soundtrack to the festivities as well as an unforgettable experience for the young musicians.

Vice Presidential Debate is tomorrow!

Monday, October 3rd

The Vice Presidential Debate will take place tomorrow October 4th at 9pm in Longwood University located in Farmville, VA. Squaring off will be Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia and Governor Mike Pence of Indiana. It will be moderated by Elaine Quijano of CBS News. While many topics are expected to be covered, both candidates are expected to court the woman vote heavily.

On Wednesday Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri will head the Presidential Inaugural Committee, and begin to plan out the Presidential Inauguration for 2017. He will be joined by Senator Chuck Schumer, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the House Speaker Paul Ryan, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Third party Presidential Candidates fail to qualify for first Presidential Debate

Friday, September 16th

Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson both failed to reach the 15% polling threshold to qualify for the first Presidential Debate, to be held on Monday, September 26th at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. The debate will be moderated by Lestor Holt, an anchor for NBC Nightly News.

Clinton collapses at 9/11 ceremony, Trump campaigns in the Mid-West

Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton appeared to collapse at a 9/11 memorial on Monday. The Clinton Campaign has stated former Senator Clinton is battling pneumonia, and today the campaign released additional health records stating that she remains healthy. 

Meanwhile Republican Donald Trump appears to continue to make gains in key swing states, according to New York Times columnist Nate Silver.
